When creating your account, SaladVault generates a 24-word recovery phrase. This phrase can regenerate your local key on a new device. Print it and keep it safe - it's your safety net.

The Jardinier plan is free forever, with no limits on local Saladiers or Feuilles. Our model is freemium: advanced features (cloud sync, shared Saladiers) will be paid, but the core app remains free.

Your email is hashed (transformed into an irreversible code) on your device BEFORE being sent to our server. We only receive an anonymous identifier. This is Blind Indexing: we can identify you without knowing who you are.

SaladVault is 100% Open Source. Even if the company disappears, the code remains public and usable. Plus, your data is stored locally on your device - it belongs to you, not us.

Never. Your master password is never stored, not in plain text, not encrypted. It's used to derive an encryption key in RAM, then immediately erased from memory (via Zeroize). Nobody - not even us - can recover it.

Don't trust us. Verify. Our code is Open Source: every line is auditable. Our Dual-Lock architecture means even if our servers are compromised, your data is useless without your local key. We technically cannot read your data.
